THE FISHNET MAFIA Welcome to the website for The Fishnet Mafia!  We are The Rocky Horror Picture Show official shadowcast and cabaret of Columbus, OH.   Our performance is at Studio 35 Cinema & Drafthouse and usually takes place on the first Saturday of the month.  We also perform at MARCon on Friday night, and participate in other special events throughout the year.

January 2, 2010 - ROCKY'N THE NEW YEAR The new year's celebration continued as the cast partied with the audience in the theater.  At midnight, our corks were popped and the events got into full swing for the evening.  We even made a toast to all the exciting things that are still to come.  This is going to be an exciting year!  Won't you join us for the ride?

February 6, 2010 - THE PUNK ROCK AND BONDAGE SHOW Love is in the air and floggers and fire were in our hands.  It's a unique show where we bring out our individual lifestyles and seduce our audience in to the darker side of romance.  The show was such a night of passion that we even had a reporter from The Columbus Dispatch there to do a story on us!

March 6, 2010 - ST. PATRICK'S PARTY This show was a party and we were all celebrating!  The music was being pumped for dancing and the beer was being served for drinking.  And, of course, there was the show.  The show, both on the stage and on the screen, were there for the audience's amusement.  Just like the audience was there for the cast.  Good times were had by all!  CHEERS!

April 3, 2010 - THE SWITCH SHOW A night of chaos, confusion, and laughter is what this night was all about!  Certain audience members were selected to pick the parts for the cast members.  Then, the cast puts the joke back on the audience, by showing a slightly different version of the movie.  It was all in good fun, which made for a very interesting night!

May 8, 2010 - THE PROM SHOW Spring arrives, love is in the air, and The Fishnet Mafia throws the hottest after-Prom party in all of Columbus!  Students, as well as adults, were cordially invited to an enchanted night under the moon-drenched shores of Transylvania.

May 28, 2010 - MARCon 45: Necropolis MARCon 45's theme was "Necropolis" and and we helped start off the convention on Friday night, by bringing in our own special brand of horror and how much fun it can be.  Our show was complete with a Pre-Show, Virgin Games, and callbacks!  Right after the show, we went back to the 1920's for TRANNYPALOOZA 2: Prohibition Boogaloo, which was our party for the entire convention.  We won the BEST PARTY FOR FRIDAY NIGHT award!!! That's two years in a row!

June 5, 2010 - SHOW OF THE LIVING DEAD A zombie apocalypse broke out in Columbus, and the local officials had announced that Studio 35 was the only registered safehouse in the city.  Members of the cast were affected by the plague, but still performed to entertain the living.  Survival kits were sold on site.

July 3, 2010 - RED, WHITE, & BREW In 2010, a local shadowcast was sent to a theater by a director for a movie they didn't make.  This cast promptly formed in an independent studio within the Columbus underground.  Today, still wanted by their audience, they survive as a Rocky Horror cabaret.  If you have $5, and no one else has the movie, and you buy a prop bag, maybe you can watch... July 4, 2010 - DOO DAH PARADE The Doo Dah Parade take place in the Short North, on every 4th of July.  It's a chance for all of us to get out and support our independence to the rest of Columbus!  So, we invited all our Sweet Transvestites to join us in the celebration (and in doing The Time Warp)!

CALLBACKS
Talk and make noise during the movie!

Callbacks are essential to The Rocky Horror Picture Show.  This is your chance to yell back at the movie, or to the audience.  It really depends on the scene.  Most callbacks have stood the test of time, but people are always making up new ones.  If you've seen several shows, then you have noticed that they vary from different casts and cities.  Well, we are a different cast in a different city - so our callback script is located here.  (coming soon)

PROP BAGS
Throw stuff in the air; Just not at the screen!

Another thing that varies between casts are the items that are permitted to throw during the movie.  The Fishnet Mafia sells pre-assembled prop bags before every show for only $1 each.  Included in our magical bag is everything that is allowed by our theater.  It's magical because it brings a whole new level to the Rocky Horror experience.  If you're not sure when to use the items, check out our Audience Participation Script (coming soon)...or, just watch the person sitting next to you.

Light up your evening and take home a souvenir!

Because every great party needs to have glow stix, we are selling these at our shows.  They are available in a variety of colors, and are 2 for $1.  When they are not in season, there will be some shows that won't have these available.  However, when we do have some in, you can add accessories to your outfit or start up your own private rave.  Either way, you will be the envy of all your friends.

Another service that we offer at the shows is the opportunity to make out with our cast members.  If you are interested in one of them, go up to them and put in a request.  Don't act all shy because prices are negotiable!  And remember, we make a great gift for that special someone.  NOTE:  Not every cast member takes part in this, so your lust may vary.  We also reserve the right to refuse the offer if it seems inappropriate.
